Associate Scientist – Protein Purification Department (Posted March 18, 2026)

Overview:

We are seeking an an entry-level protein purification scientist that does not want to be purifying the same material every day. Our team is delivering our client’s complex range of proteins from a variety of expression platforms thus providing a different purification challenge every day!

Experience to include:

Working knowledge of protein purification processes.
Technical knowledge of:
- Purification of proteins and antibodies
- Bio-Rad NGC and/ or AKTA Pilot preferred
- Familiar with batch, drip and continuous process purification
- Familiar with affinity & SEC chromatography
Proficient in data capture and analysis for report generation
Working in a Quality Systems environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Competent in Microsoft products

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate should have at least a AA/BA/BS degree in biological science or medical technology or related science background
They should have performed protein purification, protein expression/cell culture and/or quality control testing as well as troubleshooting in the laboratory

Cell Culture and Hybridoma

Overview:

Kemp Proteins is seeking an entry level cell culture & hybridoma scientist to work with the Kemp team on delivering our client’s complex range of custom antibody projects. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a science-based background, be detail oriented and demonstrate a good work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Experience to include:

Working knowledge of tissue culture of mammalian cells
Experience with aseptic cell culture techniques is preferable
Technical knowledge of:
- Performance of assays such as SDS-Page, Western Blots, EIA/ELISA
Understanding of lab automation and equipment
Competent in Microsoft products for data capture and analysis for report generation
Working in a Quality Systems environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Qualifications:

Associate of Science in Biology or other related science
Ideal candidate should have work experience in biological science or medical technology or related science background
They should have performed protein expression/ cell culture and troubleshooting in the laboratory
