Job Opportunities:

Protein Purification Scientist

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced protein purification scientist that does not want to be purifying the same material every day. Our team is delivering our clients’ complex range of proteins from a variety of expression platforms thus providing a different purification challenge every day!

Experience to include:

At least 5 years work experience in a protein purification environment
Technical knowledge of:
- Purification of proteins and antibodies
- Bio-Rad NGC and/ or AKTA Pilot preferred
- Familiar with batch, drip and continuous process purification
- Familiar with affinity & SEC chromatography
- Familiar with HPLC chromatography
- Familiarality with bi-specifics, nanoparticles and VLP purification is an advantage
Proficient in data capture and analysis for report generation
Working in a Quality Systems environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Competent in Microsoft products

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate should have at minimum of BA/BS degree in biological science or medical technology or related science background
Prior experience should include basic protein laboratory skills including buffer preparation, SDS-PAGE, WB, analytical methods, and general troubleshooting related to protein purification.
A basic understanding of protein expression is preferred.
